Children need to get their hands dirty.
Our school is located in the historic farming community of Welby, CO. Generations of farmers and ranchers cultivated this land, and we continue this legacy. In partnership with our local businesses, non-profits, and local government office, we run a year-round agriculture program on campus that supplies our kitchen, feeds our community and shows our students God's great design in nature.
The School of Creation

Classroom Gardens
Each classroom keeps a garden, and we teach both science and faith, hands-on. Students learn how crops grow, the effects of our environment, and how creation is designed to sustain life.

Year-Round Greenhouse
Our greenhouse is home to a year-round small business. In collaboration with the Welby Community Foundation, our greenhouse supports our own cafeteria, local restaurants, and teaches students how businesses start and grow.

Campus farm
We love our animals! Each family signs up for a weekend to take our animals home and host them. Students regularly visit our on-campus farm where they learn biology first-hand while tending to God's flock.

culinary program
We host regular cooking classes for students and parents in our cafeteria, using our own produce! Students go home with the skills to cook a full meal, and they host feast-day celebrations for our larger community in Advent and in Lent.
